Please fill out the Patient Information Form and Medical History Form and bring them with you to your first appointment.

Emergencies

If you are experiencing an Emergency please call 911 or go to the nearest Emergency Room. If you need to speak to the physician on call please contact our Answering Service at (757) 431-3903 and they will contact the physician on call for you.

Appointments

Our office is open to serve you Monday through Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Fridays from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.  Our staff will make every effort to accommodate your busy schedule and to make sure that there is no delay in getting you the medical attention that you need.

  • We ask that patients arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time.  
  • New patients must arrive 20 minutes prior to the scheduled appointment time.
Insurance and Financial Arrangements

OB-GYN Physicians participates with most insurance carriers.  We recommend that patients contact their insurance carriers to determine coverage.  Co-payments are collected at the time of check-in for those patients whose insurance requires a co-payment. 

Patient payments may be made by cash, check, or credit/debit card. We accept Visa and MasterCard.

Patients should bring insurance card(s) and identification to all appointments.

Questions concerning account statements or assistance with making financial arrangements should be directed to our Billing Department (757) 562-4156.

Telephone Calls

We welcome and encourage you to call our office with any concerns or questions regarding your healthcare. Please allow 24 hours for prescription refills to be sent to your pharmacy.

If you are calling for lab results or pathology results please allow 5 – 7 business days before calling, our nurses will make every effort to contact you as soon as the results have been reviewed by your provider.

Medical Records and Confidentiality

Your medical records and healthcare are completely confidential. Federal guidelines prohibit us from discussing your healthcare with anyone, even family members, unless you have given us written permission. You may view our Notice or Privacy Practices here
